New desktop changes

My desktop has hugely changed. I have switched from Arch to Lubuntu, because of an Arch bug.

The distro

I am running Arch Linux on an HP dc5700, with a 3 GHz Pentium D and 1GB RAM. With these low specs, a lightweight distro is necessary, so I am using Arch Linux with Openbox.

The desktop itself

My desktop

The dock at the bottom is wbar, the system monitor at the side is conky, and the panel at the top is fbpanel.

I am using the oxygen-icons icon theme and the green form of the archexagons-wallpapers wallpaper (no longer available in AUR).

My openbox and GTK themes are both gtk-theme-orion.

In order, the dock goes:

  1. wbar-config (from wbar), the settings editor for the dock
  2. sakura, a lightweight terminal
  3. nitrogen, a wallpaper changer
  4. palemoon, a fork of Firefox
  5. lxappearance, a GTK and Openbox theme switcher
  6. pamac-manager (from pamac-aur), a GTK-based yaourt frontend.
  7. conky-manager, a Conky editor. (This is no longer used)
  8. oblogout, a logout program for Openbox.
